DAY SUN WALKER
The Grandfather Sun is the oldest of the grandfather spirits and hence was wisdom and the power of knowledge like the wisdom of the Healing traditions of the Healing Centre people.
The term walking refers to the incentive from the ceremonial grandfathers and grandmothers to keep on walking, and not to give up on the road to healing.
The Aboriginal Healing Centre Network (ACHN) was established to plan, build cohesion and sustain the centres that provide support and healing opportunities for Residential School survivors and those inter-generationally impacted.
A network of Aboriginal Centres that provide continuous support ensuring the healing of our nations is realized.
